Thanks I should get hold of the tadpole shots, probably this is not the right time for that. If you have any more info on this frog species you can add. This is all the info I could get. Also the taxonomic confusion between Indirana & Rana makes it difficult to search for references.

Good picture. You should get the picture of the tadpole it is on the ridge side of the road further from alexes gate. As you said they are peculiar small black tadpoles as if walking on dark rock surfaces during rainy season.
