Culex Mosquito hanging from Touch Me Not (Mimosa pudica) leaf. This was shot on my Canon EOS 40D using Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro and 12mm Kenko extension tube hand-held with Canon MT-24EX macro twin light flash.

Sharp focus, is it 100% zoomed framed? The pixels look over sharpened on my screen.

Thanks for pointing out No I had not sharpened them, There was a mistake on my part Clarity slider was off to the high side in Adobe Lightroom and export had sharpen checked, both this created the over sharpen effect you saw. Now I have corrected them and posted a new photo. have a look .
Yes I did crop a little as the photo was tilted to a side. it is not 100% but 1.5:1 macro.
