Good Bye 17-40

Today I sold my Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM and purchased a second Hand Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L USM. This was a very nice lens on with very exciting ultra wide 17mm to boring 40mm range. I didn’t find it useful on a cropped body like Canon EOS 40D but very useful range in Canon EOS 5D mark II.

Thanks For Making My Blog Famous!

I have to thank all you nice people out there making this personal blog site a great success. This website saw over 30,000 hits in April 2009, with bandwidth crossing 2GB/month.

So on 30th April 2009 the site was down as the bandwidth exceeded 2GB. I had earlier thought 2GB was more than sufficient bandwidth per month. All thanks to you guys/gals making this blog famous ;)

Now I am getting higher bandwidth, so that the site can serve you better. Any suggestion, criticism is always welcome.

Taken at Someshwara beach, 13 kms from Mangalore city and 3 kms from Ullala using Canon EOS 5D mark II with Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L IS USM. Adobe Lightroom was used to enhance the look.
